BRET GORDON, ABOUT THOSE GAPPING HOLES......

 I abhor Bret Gordon for what he did to my instructors, calling them frauds online and then harassing my student and his daughter. Not long ago Gordon wrote that there were "GAPPING HOLES" in my Judo back ground. Gordon, is in my mind, at the most, nothing more than a junior black belt, a rank earned under the age of seventeen.  Making up his own martial arts system at the age of 16 based on this? Let's get real for a second.....at all of five foot five inches short and somewhere between 290 and 300 lbs, Gordon is a legend in his own mind.  

I think that it's important to see what standards and requirements Gordon actually meets, adheres to or follows (if any).  

And we will also look into what Gordon so proudly refers to in his own articles as is his "TOTAL TIME TRAINING IN VARIOUS MARTIAL ARTS" and compare it to my time and training in just judo toward the end of the article. 

According to Bret Gordon’s own website located at https://www.ocoeemartialarts.com/our-team.html#/ . It is stated that he is an “7th Degree Black Belt and a internationally certified master instructor with more than 25 years of martial arts experience in various styles.”

Firstly, 25 years isn’t enough years to even qualify him for a 7th degree bb in a jidokwan system or any Korean or Japanese system. 

Also, Gordon is 32 or 33 years old. According to the different Korean head quarters one has to be at least 45 years old. This is the MINIMUM age for a 7th degree blackbelt. Even questionable martial arts organizations who operate more like rank mills in the US have a minimum age requirement of 40 plus to qualify for a 7^th degree Black belt. 

TAE KWON DO

In another post that Gordon entitled “My taekwondo journey” located here at https://www.ustraditionaltaekwondo.com/blog/my-taekwondo-journey#/   Gordon writes that he received his poom rank, a junior Black belt rank at age 8 in 2000.  According to Gordon's own article he was allowed to convert junior black belt rank to a 2^nd degree in 2012. Gordon even shows his Kukkiwon certificate. I believe this is a legitimate rank that was indeed based on his junior rank. 

AMERICAN JIDOKWAN 

In his article Gordon goes on to write that in 2014, just two years after his taekwondo 2^nd degree blackbelt, he was tested for a 4th Dan in "American Jidokwan Taekwondo". He says this promotion was based on his "TOTAL TIME" training and in recognition of his experience in other arts. 

By American Jidokwan standards it takes 3 years to go from 2^nd to 3^rd  degree black belt and 4 years from 3^rd to 4^th  degree BB, that is a total time of 7 years from 2nd to 4th. Gordon wrote that he was promoted from a 2^nd degree black belt in taekwondo to a 4^th degree in just 2 years.

My other question here is does a taekwondo rank transfer to a rank in American Jidokwan?

According to several American Jidokwan high ranking instructors, AJDK does not transfer ranks from ANY Martial arts style. This falls in line with what Korean organizations require (more on the Korean orgs later). Everyone regardless of training starts in the American Jidokwan system as a white belt.  If they are good, they can accelerate through the kyu ranks. 

By Gordon's own comparison of total time he falls short of the total time required for a 4th dan by AJDK standards. 

KOREAN JIDOKWAN 

My last question regarding Gordon 2 to 4^th promotion is: Would Gordon’s second degree black belt in TKD be transferred or reciprocate to a Korean jidokwan black belt or of any rank lower or higher? 

From Korean reps in Korea it was explained in the following manner;

Taekwondo, Hapikido, Moo do kwan, Tangsoodo, Jidokwan etc are not the same, they are different, diverse and wholly apart from one another. This flies in the face of Gordon’s rhetoric that his "vast experience and years in other arts" transfers or reciprocates to other Korean styles. 

Gordon then states that a mere three years later, in 2017 that he was promoted to the rank of 5th Dan directly from Korea. He then goes on to say that since 2018 he has received 6th and 7th Dan promotions have also come directly from the Jidokwan Headquarters in Korea.

According to official Korean records of the World Taekwondo Jidokwan federation he was promoted to 5^th in 2018. The record shows a second promotion in 2024 to 7^th. 

According to Gordon’s “My Taekwondo Journey’ blog posts, at the bottom, in his edit, he posts his rank time table and lays out several certificates. Gordon’s TOTAL TIME from 2nd degree in 2012 to 7th degree in 2024 was twelve years. 

The Korean kwans requirement of total time from 2nd degree to 7th is 24 years, MINIMUM. 

Also it should be mentioned that according some Korean orgs requirements it takes 6 to 10 years to go from 5th to 6th and another 7 to 10 years from 6th to 7th. Gordon went from 5th to 7th in only 6 years according to his “edit”. Also the year he was promoted to seventh dan rank meets the bare minimum requirement for a 5^th. 

Going on the fact that Bret Gordon did receive a 2nd Dan in 2012, which I believe is legitimate, at the earliest he would have only been eligible for a 5th Dan by 2024. He could make 6th Dan in 2030 and 7th in 2036. Again, keep in mind that this is the MINIMUM amount of years it would take. I am sticking to the "TOTAL TIME” as Gordon describes it in his article and waivered the minimum age requirement of 45.

In Korea, the Koreans, who live the Taekwondo life EVERY DAY, training three times a day, attending Korean Taekwondo in school, after school, and in Taekwondo University PE programs don't even move up in ranks that fast. 

Another way to help figure actual time requirements and compare to Gordon's total time in training, is that in Korean Arts (and most arts) a good rule of thumb to follow is:

 Shodan - 5-10 years

 Shodan to Nidan - 3 to 4 years (2nd dan)

 Nidan to Sandan - 4 to 5 years (3rd dan)

Sandan to 4^th dan - 5 to 6 years

4^th dan to 5^th dan - 6 to 7 years

5^th to 6^th dan - 6 to 10 years

6^th to 7^th dan - 6 to 10 years

 MOST people get 5th dan in or around 45 years of age and 25 years of training MINIMUM. Most Korean arts consider this a milestone and you have to also factor in the physical test. While you may be older at 5^th degree you WILL have to meet these physical standards. 

Again Gordon is in his early 30s...too young for the ranks he claims was given, he accepted or whatever. 

I would much rather be a 5th dan with more than enough years to have a 6th or 7th than to be a 5th dan with not enough or barely enough years for a 5th degee BB rank. 

With Gordon's background being as it is, he wrote in his blog, that there were gapping holes in my back ground. With a back ground like his maybe he should keep his fucking mouth shut. 

It took me 7 years to attain my first degree black belt in judo. I was a 1^st degree for 12 years before being promoted to 2^nd degree BB. I was a 2^nd degree bb for 8 years before being promoted to 3^rd. That's 27 years total time and more than enough time for a 5th. 

Gordon's "vast experience and 25 years total time training in various martial arts" for his 7th degree BB doesn't even add up to when I got my Sandan. But, according to Gordon, I have gapping holes in my back ground.   

The only thing that appears to have more gapping holes than Gordon's so called taekwondo journey is Gordon’s Aiki Journey; https://www.americanyoshinkan.com/blog/my-aiki-journey , on his very own blog he wrote that he started his aiki journey in 2010 and by 2018 he was a fifth degree black belt???? So, only eight years to a 5th degree black belt in some form of Aiki Jujutsu....REALLY? Could Gordon's own articles possibly CUNTIFY himself any more? 

Talk about getting drunk one night and waking up next to a fucking ugly woman. 

BRET GORDON ARE YOU GERALD GRAYSMITH?

 Back in 2020 I received a call from a guy calling himself Gerald Graysmith. He only called me once, demanding that I provide proof of my back ground. I did then he promptly got cussed out. Not too long after that Bret Gordon called. He promptly got cussed out for all the lies he told about me. I wanted to get his fat sorry ass on the mats....he tried to invite me to dinner so we could work things out. I dont work things out with liars. He was told to get on the mats and if I ever saw him he would no choice. I never heard from the cunt waffle again. 

I always felt it odd I never got a single phone call from either one after that. I remember that neither one had any kind of accent. The dialect was the same. A person can speak deeper or higher to some what change and mask their voice. 

Not too long after getting caught in his lies about me, he then claimed I was this guy Gerald. Gordon made a strange request in his article written much later than his defamatory one....he demanded to see my arms. In his article Gordon posted a picture of someone who supposedly was Greysmith claiming it was me.  

Gordon blew up the picture of the guys arm on his blog and even demanded to see my arms (pictured above). There isn't a pretender that I am afraid of. We called them pussies back in my day and quite frankly they all are.  There isn't a mother fucker out there that I would hide my face from, especially a pussy like Bret Gordon. 

So Bret, do my arms make your vagina wet?

Ironically who actually has tattoos on his arms? None other than Bret Gordon. Tattoos on the flabby arms of a flabby ass white boy. Gordon is extremely short also, so unless the guy in glasses is roughly the height of a fucking Garden gnome I highly doubt its Bret behind the mask. 

Gordon has made baseless accusations and purposely lied to defame and slander me and the bitch boy knows he did. Trying to accuse me of being Graysmith was yet another example of the extent that Gordon went to, to tell yet another lie when he was caught in the original lies he told about me. In the end Gordon will lie to cover up the lies he spewed about me online. He kept running his meat sucker until it got him in trouble. So what is he gonna do now, claim he didn't do it, blame it on others maybe.

All that VAST experience in various martial arts all those various ranks he claims to have and Gordon couldn't muster the guts or have the skillset to scrimmage with a low ranking judoka like me. He damn sure lied his fucking ass off about me. This is why he was too pussy to scrimmage with me. He cried like the bitch boy he is and tried to claim it was a fight. Jack Stern cried like a bitch too when caught in ALL his lies. 

I DON'T FORGET! I DAMN SURE WONT FORGIVE!

 When it comes to Bret Gordon, every word he has written about me and my instructors has been nothing but one lie after the next. AND GORDON KNOWS IT. As long as a single word about me is still up on his blog(s). I will continue to point out every aspect of my back ground that he lied about. 

Its as simple as that. 

Three years after trying to defame and slander me and my instructors, he then starts to harass and dox a student of mine and his 13 year old daughter to get back at me. Bret wasn’t man enough to settle differences with me, in person, face to face. Instead, he goes after a student of mine who was living in another state and his daughter.

Not a single word that Gordon has written about me or my background was ever true at any time. He made it all up! A year after he harassed my student and his daughter, he then reaches out to one of my judo instructors who he also had put down and admonished for promoting me to 4th and 5th degree black belt in judo. Gordon wanted my instructor to promote him. 

Again as long as a single word about me is still up on his blog(s), I am going to continue to point out every aspect of my back ground that he lied about. Gordon told one lie after the next about me and I am not going to let his lying ass forget it. 

I'm going to make sure my name is going to haunt the cowardly fuck for as long as a single word about me and my people are up on his blog(s).

Gordon ran his meat sucker in an article last year (see below), he said I was stupid and said I would be facing legal action…really? Well Gordon, this is what I think of  Gordon's legal threats.

SO THERE ARE GAPPING HOLES IN MY BACK GROUND, HUH?

My formal training in judo started with my instructor who Gordon claimed was a non existent person. Well, me and my non existent instructor made the news papers back in the early to mid 90s back when I was a brown belt. 

My instructor was forthcoming from the jump that  it would take, at least, seven years to attain black belt. He only tested once a year. It was a indeed a 7 year journey after which I was awarded my shodan. This is 2 to 3 times longer than what is required today in all the Judo orgs.

So where aee the "GAPING HOLES IN MY BACK GROUND." 

I was a shodan for 12 years, during this time I was teaching judo, competing and going to camps and coaches clinics. Time in grade for a shodan to be promoted to nidan is 3 years but I had 12 years Time in Grade (TIG)...4 times more than what was required by ALL the Judo orgs.

12 years is the amount of time it takes to go from 1st degree to 3rd degree in all judo orgs. Total time from my white belt to my nidan was 19 years.So If I was faking my ranks like Gordon originally claimed in 2020 don’t you think I would promote myself to nidan faster than 12 years time? 

But Gordon, being the lying shit stain he is, wrote that there were "GAPING HOLES IN MY BACK GROUND."

I was a 2nd degree black belt (nidan) for 8 years. During that 8 years I was still active in judo, teaching and going to coaching clinics and camps. Time in grade for nidan to be promoted to sandan is 4 years. I had 8 years time in grade, twice the amount required by all judo orgs. 

My total total time from white to sandan/3rd degree black  - 27 years. It takes approximately 20 years of being active in judo to go from shodan to godan (5th degree BB). I had TWENTY TWO years from 1st degree black belt to the time I got promoted to 3rd degree (Sandan). When I got my 4th I had TWENTY SIX years. This isn't counting the 7 years I put in from white to 1st black. 

There were more than enough years for 5th degree BB (godan) and currently for a sixth degree (rokudan), a rank though I probably won't see for a few more years yet. 

So Gordon where are those "GAPING HOLES IN MY BACK GROUND" you lying fuck twat.  

Gordon knows he lied about me and my instructors.

Gordon also knows he is just a single threatening post or phone call away from being arrested by Alabama authorities for his harassment of my student and his daughter. Reaching out to my judo instructor asking him for a promotion proves Gordon purposely and intentionally slandered and defamed me and my instructors. 

(I am going to post more on Gordon emailing my instructor in the next article and how it goes back to another instructor Gordon made it a point to defame and slander.) 

As far as I am concerned Gordon’s black belts aren’t worth a fuck, he cant back the first one of them up on the mats, neither is any rank he gives! Gordon promoted some dude from 1^st degree BB to 5^th in less than two years. 4 degrees in two years. WOW? Gordon shouldn’t run his meat sucker about anyone else's rank or how they got it.

I’m not some dude in a mask. I am not hiding my identity or my face from a lying ass coward like Gordon. Gordon ran from a scrimmage, like a pussy. 

What are you telling people privately, Gordon? You telling people that you "handled" things? That you and I have settled our differences? Maybe you're telling them that you didn’t write those posts about me and my instructors? Is the story that someone else wrote your blog(s)? What's next? You gonna start blaming shit on AI? AI wrote those articles? AI sent the email to my instructor asking him for a promotion? AI threatened my student and his 13 year old kid? AI called my instructor’s widow pretending to be a long lost granddaughter? 

Gordon owes myself, my instructors, dead and alive, and their families an apology..... every single one of us! 

Well, Try lying your way out of a lawsuit, Gordon. 

Slander, defamation, Tortious interference and 12 counts of copyright infringement. All 12 of which Gordon can be held liable for statutory damages as high as 150,000.00 EACH!

I honestly don’t give a fuck that Gordon doesn’t have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of.

More Proof of the Extent that Bret Gordon.... LIED!

Bret Gordon has spent the better part of 4 years trying to figure out some way to get over on me, from writing a defamatory article full of lies that he made up, to harassing a student of mine who lives in another state and his 13-year-old daughter. Gordon wont do anything to my face, he is just too much of a pussy. 

Gordon did however, get himself in some hot water the Ohatchee Police dept. According to police Gordon targeted a student of mine, Randy and his 13 daughter because he held a deep hatred and jealousy for me. Gordon harassed and Doxed this family. Gordon has even had conversations with said authorities. Gordon admitted that he was involved. Despite being told by the police to quit posting about Randy and his daughter, Gordon continued to do so.

When it comes to Bret Gordon despite what I have written so far showing the extent that he lied about my background, it doesnt even begin to cover the entirety of the levels he went to. In his article linked above Gordon starts with (I highlighted them in yellow because they are the words of a liar and a coward);

“In his bio on the Winter Haven Judo website, which is his school by the way, Barron specifically leaves out who his Judo instructors were. Doing some more research, the certificates below were posted on one of his numerous blog sites and I can't help but notice a few interesting traits. The most glaring is that his 2nd Dan certificate on the right is in Korean (and both feature the Korean eum-yang in the logo). Does that mean it's really Yudo and he has no right to claim Judo? Or can we admit they're the same thing... Moving on, both certificates are signed by "Terrell R. Tucker" and list "Hoong Woo Ro" as the founder of the Winter Haven Judo Club, which like I said is Barron's own school. If we are to believe everything we find (or can't find) on Google, neither of these two gentlemen ever existed. In the first sentence he claims I had left out who my instructors were….this is a lie. I want to point out that Gordon knew I was legit, he knew Terry Tucker was indeed real person but wrote the article anyway lying at every turn. Gordon wrote that my original judo instructor, Terry Tucker, was a fictitious non existent person and that I owned the Winter Haven Judo club and simply promoted myself using forged signatures of a nonexistent person(s).  The information was and is found easily online by simply searching Winter Haven Judo club. http://winterhavenjudoclub.blogspot.com/2008/01/newspaper-article-on-judo-club.html 

Gordon, purposely ignored the Winter Haven judo club's blog where there were pictures of myself and Mr. Tucker online in the 2008 blog post linked above in previous paragraph. Terry Tucker was clearly identified in the 1997 news article, that was in the post and shown to be my instructor and myself as his assistant instructor  and a brown belt in judo (below).

Gordon saw the newspaper clippings of the Winter Haven Judo Club and who the program belonged to, but, Gordon chose to lie his ass off and defame me and my instructors anyway that he could. 

Gordon has posted online more times than I can count that the mat was the only proving ground for someone’s legitimacy. He frequently challenged people to get on the mats with him online. But that came to an abrupt halt when it came to me. 

Gordon was man enough to harass a student of mine and his 13 year little girl but……

Gordon was asked to scrimmage with me but he pussed out. 

Gordon was told he could use any systems he wanted and I would stick strictly to judo…He pussed out of that too.

Gordon was then told I would get on the mats with both he and his instructor at the same time….he pussed out. 

I am in my 60s and in shape Gordon is not in shape at all. Gordon doesn't miss a meal or a snack. He is grossly out of shape, overweight, unimpressive in stature and skill. He knows that I would embarrass him in a scrimmage under any circumstances. He knows he cant hang with the real deal.....me. He knows which one of us is the real man and martial artist. A judo scrimmage requires practical application of skills, Gordon doesn’t have any. He knows he would be grossly outmatched and exposed.

Gordon also knows he over stepped his bounds when he tried to threaten and harass my people and then decided to reach out to one of my instructors for rank. 

Gordon wants to be in my league but he wont ever measure or even come close. 

AFTER Gordon spent the past 4 years calling me and my instructors fakes, frauds and non existent people. Gordon trying to pull one over on my instructors, emailed (pictured left) one of MY judo instructors earlier this year, asking my instructor to help him with his judo rank. Bret wanted my instructor to give him a 2nd degree black belt in judo. Gordon was turned away. 

Gordon emailing one of my instructors asking for a promotion proves that Gordon knew I was legitimate when he wrote his DEFAMATORY articles. It proves that he did indeed knowingly and purposely LIE about everything pertaining to my back ground.  

Gordon knows that he went to great lengths to lie about me and I intend to show in my articles how far the lying ass hat went. 

Over a year ago, Bret Gordon also claimed in an article about me that he won a defamation lawsuit: https://bretgordon.weebly.com/blog/pot-meet-kettle-barron-shepherd-part-2#/  In the very first sentence Gordon literally started the article off with the claim that he had won his lawsuit;

“I knew after we won our defamation suit, our trolls and haters would come back with a vengeance. When the truth isn't on their side, the only strategy left is to flood the search engines in order to bury it. I'll admit that I was a little shocked at who's leading the charge, but let's dive in...

Now I will state here that I did take Gordon at his word about winning his lawsuit. Surely, he wouldn't be dumb enough to state that he won a case when he had not....... and he surely wouldnt stupid enough to start an article off with something that wasn't true.  Well he did. 

Despite Gordon’s insults, continued defamation of me and legal threats in the above linked article it didn’t hinder me from pointing to the extent that he purposely lied about my back ground. 

I want this to be perfectly clear as long as there is a single word still up online written by Gordon about me and my student and his 13 year old daughter that Gordon harassed and doxed, I am going to point out to the most minute detail the extent that Bret Gordon took to lie about my background. Further action is going to take place and be taken. 

Bottom line here is Gordon hasn’t won his lawsuit nor was it “buried” like he stated in the first sentences of his article in 2023. The status of the lawsuit and evidence presented in the filings are ALL a matter of public record and can found here; https://courtrecords.lakecountyclerk.org/

Looking at the files in the docket no proof has been offered by the plaintiff of actual defamation. A claim with no proof doesn’t and wont hold up in court. He can’t point to a single incident where he was actually defamed and has refused to answer filings made in the case or even offer proof of his own background.  

Gordon would later write in another article that the filings made by the defendant aren’t official court documents. They were admitted into the court as evidence upon Plaintiff’s request and the defendants defense........That’s as official as it gets.

 No efforts have been made by the plaintiff to disprove the filings made by the defendant. As it stands, no decision has been made. The plaintiff attorney dropped the deposition that they requested after the defendant decided to get an attorney to represent him.

I expect this law suit was filed solely to scare people off from asking any questions about his background and I expect Gordon will run from this lawsuit at this point. Regardless, it is obvious that nothing is as Gordon claims it to be.
