BRET GORDON’S MISUNDERSTANDING AGAIN?

No one has lied about Bret Gordon.Gordon however has lied about everything. Gordon doesn't concern himself with the truth. All he wants is to build the perfect lie. One that cant be exposed. 

Gordon has yet again attempted to minimize his statements and actions regarding lying about a convicted pedophile in 2020. 

Now Gordon implies a rape conviction was  just a "misunderstanding" on his part. He claims that he didn't understand the case and verdict......in particularly that he didn't understand what dismissed with direct indictment meant.  

Gordon is and has been notorious for threatening folks with his attorney. Apparently it didn't dawn on Gordon to ask his attorney what Dismissed with direct indictment meant. 

So this should excuse him from all his comments he made about it? Right? WRONG!

Gordon wrote that what happened to a little girl wasn't a rape. He wrote that it wasn't a violent crime. He wrote that the rape wasn't against a minor child. He even blamed the rape victim, he wrote that it was only drunken sex, He wrote that she had misrepresented her age.....an 11 year old girl. 

Gordon was wrong on all counts. 

He never once offered an apology for what he did. Instead he ended the 2020 article with it was a ongoing legal matter due to his defamation suit against Dale Dumas. We will get back to the frivilous defamation suit later.

Gordon either did have knowledge of the case and lied about it or he didn't really have knowledge of it and lied about it.  

In 2020, Gordon attempted to minimize and manage the fallout of a situation involving a Patrick Justice.  Justice was convicted in 2004 of a sexual offense involving a 11 year old girl and served prison time. Despite the seriousness of Justice's criminal background, he was allowed to serve in a leadership position within the AJA from 2011 to 2017 during which time Justice was supposed to be registering as a sex offender but was not.

Gordon and his instructor Steven Hatfield continued to list Justice as a leader (president of the American Jidokwan Association) and high ranking member on their websites and organizational materials for years after his conviction and release from prison. It appears Gordon only removed Justice's name and references after the conviction became had public in August 2020.

Gordon engaged in rapid "damage control" scrubbing websites, issuing contradictory statements, and publishing blog posts claiming to have knowledge of the case and attempted to explain away or downplay the situation. His idea of damage control was to lie about the entire situation.

No Gordon, there were multiple rapes and not one the rapes happened at ANY party. 

Gordon claimed he had knowledge of the case, that he investigated it.....however Gordon's entire statement, every sentence regarding the incident wasn't even remotely true.

Patrick Justice then 23 years old, was originally charged with two counts of rape, one count of kidnapping and one count of  Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a minor (pictured above).  These counts involved two victims, one was victim was an 11 year old girl and the other under the age of 16. 

In one of the aforementioned articles (pictured and link below) in the comments section Gordon in his own words wrote a reply to an Angela and stated that: "There is nothing to suggest it (the rape of an 11 year old girl) was a violent crime".

Another one of Gordon’s statements that was entirely untrue. Rape is a violent crime and yes it was a child. An 11 year old. 

According to court records, Justice had raped the 11 year old and kept her for hours.  I am sure one can imagine the serious injuries an 11 year old girl can sustain from being raped by a 23 or 24 year old adult male. 

The victim had to be rushed to the Emergency Room.  But according to Gordon "it wasnt a violent crime".

Police responded and a detective was called to the emergency room (see above). With the help of a witness, Justice was arrested and then held on a quarter of million dollars bond (see below).

Facing two counts of rape on the same victim and a 3rd count involving another incident with a girl under 16 ( please note that the victims names were redacted by the court but not their ages), the then 23 year old Justice plead guilty to a lesser charge of sexual battery with sexual motivation, a plea deal that was made to spare the 11 year old little girl from having to testify in court. Justice was sentenced to prison in Ohio and served approximately two years (not long enough), beginning in 2004. 

Upon his release Justice was required to register as a sex offender for ten years. However, more time kept getting tacked on extending the ten years as Justice failed to register as ordered to, numerous times. Gordon posted to the contrary of this in his 2020 article stating that Justice was getting his life back together. Justice was still in direct violation of his probation and not adhering to his court ordered community service.

However the linked statement above wasn't true either.  

According to court records Justice did know the victim was a child under 13 years of age. Gordon also left out that Justice's victim had been reported as missing and a missing persons report had been filed with law enforcement.

Gordon got it wrong again, the truth is that Justice was indeed a "pedophilic predator".....

Gordon. through his blog, essentially revictimized a little girl (see qoute and link above) who was raped over and over again for HOURS AND HOURS. What's worse is, he intentionally and purposely lied to defame and slander her. Gordon clearly wrote that she misrepresented her age. 

The rape wasn't an isolated incident, "another victim under the age of 13  is also mentioned in the Franklin County court records. Also as mentioned before Justice DID KNOW the victim was under age (see below). 

Gordon either knew about these offenses, chose to lie about them and slander the victim. Or he didn't know about them and he chose to slander the victim to protect his fake martial arts ranks and a position as President in his instructor's now defunct organization The American Jidokwan Association, whose website was later changed to The US traditional Taekwondo Federation.

 On his own blog Gordon claimed he had knowledge of this case yet EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE he wrote about it were just more of his blatant lies.

Final Thoughts 

Gordon not only minimized the rape of an 11 year old girl, he blamed the victim and then slandered the victim. Not one word about what Gordon wrote about this incident was remotely true. 

Wasn't this case that Gordon claimed was the reason behind his defamation lawsuit against a Dale Dumas? 

So why wasn't this case mentioned in Gordon's own defamation case? It is according to Gordon where he got defamed.  Yet it appears nowhere in court filings. 

Multiple rapes were indeed committed against minors, two under the age of 13 and one under 16. Apparently what Justice actually did was left out of court filings altogether intentionally by the suing party.

Not one mention of it or the rapes Justice committed against minors. This would point to the fact that the defamation suit is frivilous. Which by the way Gordon has since been dropped or abandoned. 

Gordon certainly hasnt won his case, like he has claimed multiple times online.

Casper the Friendly Ghost?

Well it appears that just after the dropping my latest article online, someone calling themselves "Casper Mcfadden" has reached out to my judo instructors wanting information about my ranks in Judo. This guy claimed to be a licensed private investigator. My ranks warrant such attention that  PI is investigating me. Yeah nice try Bret Gordon. 

Gordon has a hard on for me because my ranks are legitimate while he has lied about all of his. He gets booted from orgs because he can't prove any formal training save for a junior black belt. Seriously black belt ranks given to children are laughable at best....even with the word junior stuck on the front of it. 

Typically "subject matter experts" and "world renowned highly trained martial artists" like Gordon proclaims he is, don't get their works exposed as fraudulent by the very martial arts style they claim they extensively trained in. In Gordon's case multiple daitoryu groups debunked his claims in Aikijujutsu training, background and history as total fabrication.

And my instructors arent supposed to think this latest attempt isn't anything suspicious at all. Gordon has never been accussed of being smart. 

One of my instructors were specifically asked about promoting me to godan. Could the actual reason be because Gordon appears to have been recently booted from USA Judo. 

In the email, Gordon aka Casper Doctor private dickless, states that there is Little verifying information regarding my ranks? Laughable to say the least, Gordon cant even prove any formal training in judo, which besides his many lies, is the real butt of his issue. 

Yet no proof of formal training exists in the many ranks Gordon claims, judo ranks being amoung them. More adolescent nonsense from Bret Gordon, I mean "Casper Macfadden" private dick.  No doubt casper is about as real as Yusucka Hatashi. 

First before making such accusations as the ones in the email one should have actual proof.

Projection is when someone attributes their own unacceptable qualities or actions to someone else. Gordon, excuse me, I mean, Dr. Casper super duper private dick - head is accusing me of what Gordon has been doing for years and years. 

It appears that more defamatory and slanderous statements and accusations were made by the mysterious Dr. "Casper Macfadden", I mean Gordon, in his 3 statements above in the email.  

"Casper Macfadden" stated in his email that he was a licensed private investigator. 

In one conversation Casper, I mean, Kaiso Nut hugger Gordon said he was a PI and in another he claimed to be an investigative journalist and a doctor even. 

Also this Dr. Casper Macfadden licensed private DICK does not appear in a Georgia, Florida or national private investigator search. Any licensed private investigator would be on this list. See below.

Apparently Gordon doesn't think that licensed private investigators can be checked out or verifed. Only the four chinned wonder of the universe could be so brain dead.  

Impersonating a private investigator, especially a licensed one, is illegal and can have serious consequences. "Casper Macfadden" is not a licensed PI. That is Not a shocker there. This has been verifed. The proper actions have been taken and reports have been filed with the state agencies involved. 

Impersonating a PI is a felony in that state and the state agency is going to treat it as a crime committed in their state.  Also if a PI gives an alias instead of his real name it's a felony. 

Mr. Tucker my judo instructor, the one that Gordon claimed was a fabricated persona got a call from this Casper I mean Bret nut licker Gordon...wanting to question him about my Judo background? 

I would think an actual Doctor/PI/super investigative Journalist would realize Gordon is the liar and the one cyberbulling slandering and defaming upon contacting the person who Gordon claimed never existed.

IPs from where emails came from have been looked up and phone number this Casper used to contact one of my other instructors Terry Tucker, has been traced to Florida..... pinged not three miles from Gordon's dojo in the central Florida. Only Gordon is capable of reaching such levels of stupidity while incriminating himself even more. 

I would also point out that I am in my 60s my instructors are several years older than I yet Gordon/Casper felt compelled to communicate sternly with them and impose that they reply and attempt to coerce them into making statements. But intimidating and harrassing the elderly, cancer stricken patients, children and revictimizing rape victims is what Gordon does...in lieu of driving forty minutes and getting his fat cowardly ass on the mats with me.

Could Gordon be more stupid than to contact those he slandered using an alias and expect my instructors not to contact me? 

I suppose Dr. Casper Macfadden, Private dick, investigative journalist will be suing for defamation now right? Wink, wink. 

I expect that all the ones who were involved with the threats leveled at my student and his kid will indeed be arrested. It's gonna happen, their own actions have incriminated tthemselves.

Final Thoughts 

Gordon not only minimized the rape of an 11 year old girl, he blamed the victim and then slandered the victim to protect his bullshit martial art ranks and titles. Gordon covered up multiple rapes that were committed by Justice. That makes him just as bad if not worse than the rapist.

Association with an instructor implicated in such behavior can severely damage a student's personal and professional reputation within the martial arts community and beyond. Black belt and longtime students can face skepticism or ostracism from other dojos, organizations, or peers, regardless of their personal involvement or knowledge of the cover-up.

 Organizations the instructor was involved with may face scrutiny and repercussions. In some martial arts organizations, ranks and certifications may be revoked or called into question if they were issued by a disgraced instructor. This can lead to the invalidation of students’ credentials or the need for retesting under a different instructor, impacting their standing and future opportunities.

None of the rapes occurred at a party, like Gordon claimed. Gordon chose to lie about the multiple rapes that Justice had committed on children. As far as I am concerned Gordon maliciously and purposely revictimized that little girl with what he wrote online, he certainly refused to tell the truth about it. Gordon lied and covered up the acts of a "pedophilic predator". Gordons actions make him no betrer than the rapist. 

Gordon's black belts and longtime students no doubt witnessed and were privy to Gordon's actions and many changing stories. These people have either outright defended Gordon in his many lies or have remained quiet and or complicit. This also contributed to keep these heinous and despicable acts covered up. Every single one of these people might as well have helped the rapist keep a under age child prisoner in his house and held her down as she was being raped over and over again for hours and hours.

Bret Gordon: The Butt of his Own Joke

Bret Gordon has habit and custom of misrepresenting his affiliations with other martial artists and organizations. His claims regarding Daitoryu Aikijujutsu are nothing but more fabrication and misrepresentation. 

According to Eric Pearson, Gordon fabricated a "glowing review" supposedly from Pearson. When Mr. Pearson found out about Gordon doing this, he contacted Gordon and asked for it to be removed. Gordon refused his request see messages below. 

Pearson addressed this publicly on his blog.

"I am a moderator on one of the large Daito Ryu AikiJujutsu Facebook groups. Years ago Bret Gordon joined the Facebook group. I recall he posted a few videos. He was claiming connections to Kodokai as I recall. We had a pleasant exchange on Facebook messenger. I know very little about the lineage he was claiming. Another moderator on the group blocked him from access to the facebook group because he suspected Mr. Gordon was lying (the other moderator IS part of Kodokai and has access to the records). That was pretty much the extent of my knowledge of Mr Gordon. 

So it has come to my attention that Mr Gordon is using my name as a reference on his website. Budoka online have been questioning me about my “glowing review” of Mr Gordon. I don't know why Mr Gordan chose me as a reference. Recently I discovered that he, without my knowledge, used me as a reference. I asked him to please remove the statement. He refused my request."

Gordon released a book in which he stated included "proof" of his back ground, the existence of a fabled mysterious Japanese instructor who had changed his name to Hasaka Yutashi and it would also include a picture of the supposed Hasaka Yutashi and confirm connections to daito ryu. 

Two weeks after its release the Kodokai organization themselves debunked the claims Gordon made in his book. 

"There is no connection between Bret Gordon and the Daito ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai organization either here in the USA or in Japan. Any claims he is making regarding such a connection are entirely false.

The Daito ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai organization keeps strict records of it's members. There is and has never been a "Hasaka Yutashi" who trained in the Kodokai organization either here in the USA or in Japan. There is no basis for him to claim that his organization is based on or connected with the Kodokai in any way shape or form, much like the claim he mentions about Yoshinkan aikido.

Furthermore, Gordon should should specifically state that his organization has no historical ties, lineage or affiliation with the Daito ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai organization. Additionally the individual depicted in the photograph included in his book has never held any rank or title within the Daito ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai organization in either the USA or Japan.

On the heels of the statement from the kodokai (above), the former General Secretary from the Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu Kodokai organization has also spoken out about Gordon's spurious claims and blatant misrepresentation of Daito Ryu connections. John Persson related that Gordon didnt present himself as a daitto ryu practitioner but some one doing a street wise jujutsu. However Gordon took Persson's comments and edited them to make it appear Persson was commending him regarding Daitoryu. 

Gordon's claims of connections to aikido's Gozo Shioda and the daito ryu both online and in his book have been directly refuted and debunked. 

Additionally, others who Gordon specifically mentions in his book, debunked more of his claims. On pages 11- 14, Gordon covers his "training" with the Ginjukai which included Dimitri Deglas, Joe Brogna and Howard Popkin. Gordon alleges in his book that he trained with them twice a month beginning 2019 and that "he left" in 2020 indicating he trained with the group any from 30 to 40 times at the least and that he even taught classes while there. 

However, according to Popkin, Dimitri and Brogna, this doesnt appear to be the case. Gordon only attended a few classes maybe 6 to 10 at the most and only as a budo courtesy. It appears Gordon was caught in some of his "misrepresentations" was called a liar to his face, told to leave and wasn't allowed to come back. I was forwarded this recent email (below)and then I talked with Mr. Popkin by phone. 

 This directly contradicts what Gordon writes in his self published book that he alleges is proof of his training regarding the Daitoryu Aikijujutsu Ginjukai. 

Popkin described Gordon as a "bold faced liar" who was fabricating his back ground. Popkin made earlier statements debunking Gordon, alleging Gordon used Kodokai pictures with out authorization or permission. Those statements were admitted in court and can be found at  https://courtrecords.lakecounty.org/ Case Number 35-2020-CA-001851 court docket file 142, exhibit 14, page 6. 

What Gordon alleges as photographic "evidence" of Yutashi in his book has not held up under scrutiny either. It is a picture of an middle aged man just sitting with a little boy. The person in the picture that Gordon alleges to be Yutashi isn’t even Japanese, despite claiming for years he was a japanese man who had changed his name. Nor does Yutashi appear in the Kodokai pictures Gordon claims that he is somewhere in. 

What appears to be the best part of the joke that is Gordon's fake background comes from his own instructor Steven Hatfield. 

In a conversation with Renshinkan officials and its head master Michio Takase, Hatfield specifically stated that his grandfather, who Gordon now claims is Hasaka in his book, taught his own style of Jujutsu and that it is not daito ryu and very few techniques are even similar.

It seems Gordon has been caught in yet another lie....this time it was exposed by his own instructor. At this point anything that Gordon claims or proposes to be "evidence" of his legitimacy is no doubt the result of more purposeful lies, deceit and total fabrication.

 After posting my last article regarding rape of an 11 year old girl in Ohio in oct of 03, I have garnered what appears to be a online death threat. I don't believe this is a coincidence. Somebody doesn't want to me to post what I know about that particular rape. 

Well if only anyone was actually man enough to come get some.

A Dallas Wittgenfeld has offered two grand for any info leading to Gerald Smith of which Dallas crosses the name out with a red X and puts up DEAD MAN in big bold letter next to the name. Implying to have a Gerald Greysmith killed. Oh and I’m a person of interest, the one he wants people to come after. 

Dallas, Gordon that article implies you want somebody dead. Then you post a pic of me as a "person of interest" well that narrows it down so......carry it out then. Do it yourselves. Gordon what's the matter bitch boy. maybe get a nut hugging attorney to do it, oh that's right you guys can only fight people who cant fight back.  You're not pussies are you? You both did threaten my students' daughter....so man up now.

Dallas and Gordon are in hot water with the police for threatening my student and his daughter. This latest thing just solidifies you went after my student as a means to get to me. Well guess what? You have my invite come after me. I’m waiting.

What You Put into the Universe Comes Back

Bret Gordon wrote numerous lies about my back ground to attempt to defame and slander me. He accused me of having fake and non existent instructors. He belittled my instructors and admonished my instructors over the years for promoting me. He was involved with the online harassment of my student and his 13 year old daughter. He even reached out to one my instructors that he defamed and asked them to promote him to a nidan in judo. 

The past months I have received numerous statements that Gordon defamed me to students in his school and over the phone to various people over the years. More and more people especially former students have reached out and all feel they were ripped off by Bret Gordon. Apparently Gordon has a habit of trying to intimidate people by threatening legal action. 

Neither Bret Gordon or his instructor Steven Hatfield can offer  a single shred proof regarding their own back grounds. Bret Gordon has faced significant scrutiny regarding his claims of affiliation with Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu, as of late. There are inconsistencies in his statements and this has questioned the legitimacy of his purported lineage. 

Gordon’s instructor Steven Hatfield has claimed to be a 6th Dan rank in Daitō-ryū jūjutsu Master (see early bio above). Reputable Daitō-ryū organizations have stated that there is no documented evidence of Hatfield's formal training or certification in this discipline from established lineages.

In 2018, Gordon publicly claimed to hold a dan rank in Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu. However, it was revealed that neither Hatfield or Gordon held no rank in or affiliation to Daitoryu. Gordon then stated the following in a 2022 blog article; "I have never claimed any rank in Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu," contradicting his earlier claim. Gordon had removed the rank claim in daitoryu from his website and then lied and tried to claim he never claimed such rank. 

Hatfield, along with Gordon, has promoted a martial arts system called American Yoshinkan Aiki Jujutsu, which they claim was founded by a Japanese master named Yutashi Hasaka. According to their official website, American Yoshinkan Aiki Jujutsu was founded by Hasaka Yutashi, with Steven Hatfield inheriting the art in 2006. Bret Gordon later became a student of Hatfield and was appointed as the headmaster in 2020.

Gordon and Hatfield have presented varying and inconsistent narratives over the years regarding the existence and background of Hasaka Yutashi.  These shifting accounts have raised significant skepticism within the martial arts community.

Evolution of the Hasaka Yutashi Narrative

Their Initial accounts describe Hasaka Yutashi as a Japanese martial artist who began developing what would become American Yoshinkan Aiki Jujutsu in 1957. He is said to have studied Yoshinkan Aikido under Gozo Shioda and Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu under Kodo Horikawa, eventually moving to the United States in the 1980s. The art was reportedly named "American Yoshinkan Aiki Jujutsu" in 1999. However, critics have pointed out that there is no verifiable evidence of Yutashi's existence, his contributions to martial arts or training in aikido or daito ryu..

Earlier versions of Hatfield's martial arts background mention a Haska Yutasi. It was then claimed by Gordon that Hatfield had been mispronouncing and misspelling his own instructors name.

The shifting narratives from both Gordon and Hatfield and lack of concrete evidence point toward a constructed lineage aimed at establishing legitimacy for their own made up homemade martial arts system.

Bret Gordon then claimed to be in possession of photographs depicting Hasaka Yutashi, including one from the 25th Anniversary of the Kodokai. However, experts have debunked these claims, stating that the individuals in the photographs are not Yutashi and that the images have been misrepresented.

In response to the mounting criticism, Gordon later stated that the reason no records could be verified was because "Hasaka Yutashi" was an alias. Hasaka Yutashi, a supposed Japanese guy had changed his name to Japanese name that isn't a actual Japanese name.  Gordon's story that Hasaka is an alias has further fueled skepticism and added to the lack of legitimacy and authenticity of their claims and the existence of Yutashi.

The existence of Hasaka and proof of their training has been requested to be presented by multiple judges to date. Gordon and Hatfield have both refused to offer a shred of proof to the courts. Yet a old Japanese group picture adorns their walls and their sites with the statement that Yusaka is somewhere in the picture. 

The story, according to others, of Hasaka Yutashi has changed over the years too. Supposedly it was “someone” who taught Hatfield's step father William Sirbaugh then it was handed to Hatfield and then to Gordon. They had a supposed picture of Hatfield's step father training in Korea however that picture wasn't him. In actuality it was a picture of a Lawrence Sieberliech. They had misrepresented the picture to be of Sirbaugh. The pictured had been pilfered from the Moo Du Kwan website. Lawrence Sieberliech had trained extensively at the Moo Du Kwan in Korea. 

Extensive research has failed to verify the existence of Hasaka, and linguistic analysis verifies the name is not consistent with Japanese naming conventions, indicating it's fabricated. 

The martial arts community has raised serious concerns about Steven Hatfield's and Gordon’s claims of any credentials in or lineage to Daitō-ryū Aiki-jujutsu and other disciplines. The lack of proof of verifiable formal training, verifiable evidence, associations with discredited individuals, and creation of self-styled systems contribute to the perception that their claims are unfounded and lack legitimacy.

Steven Hatfield's association with Renshinkan Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu has been a subject of controversy and scrutiny within the martial arts community. While Hatfield and his associate Bret Gordon have denied claiming formal rank from Renshinkan Daito ryu Aikijujutsu their actions, implications and representations were otherwise and led to disputes and clarifications from the Renshinkan Organization. 

In a blog post, Bret Gordon addressed allegations regarding their association with Renshinkan, stating: "That is one hundred percent categorically false, and I challenge anyone to find a post or article where Steven Hatfield or myself claimed to have rank from the Renshinkan."  

Gordon acknowledged that Hatfield had posted a video demonstrating Renshinkan techniques while wearing a midnight blue belt, and that others "mistakenly identified it as a black belt". He emphasized that no explicit claim of rank was made in the video. However, there is no blue belt rank of any shade of blue issued in Daito ryu nor did Hatfield hold any rank at all in Renshinkan Daitō-ryū Aikijujutsu. 

Despite Gordon’s and Hatfield’s spin and denials, court dockets indicate that Renshinkan representatives took issue with Hatfield's misrepresentation, conducted their own research and, following a conversation with Hatfield, debunked his claims and alleged that Hatfield purposely misrepresented himself as being ranked within the Renshinkan. Also this discussion with the Renshinkan denotes another shift in Hatfield's and Gordon's ever changing narrative. This was the first mentions of Hasaka Yutashi being a family member of Hatfield's.  Additionally, these references are in court docket files (130, 138, and 139) https://courtrecords.lakecounty.org/ Case Number 35-2020-CA-001851 

Gordon claimed last year that they won their case. However this was a lie. The case appears to have been abandoned after the defendant Dale Dumas got an attorney.  Once submitted into the docket there is 90 days to offer proof contesting these filings. That was up months ago. These court filings shed significant light on the lies and fraud perpetuated by Gordon and have been left uncontested by both Gordon and Hatfield and stand as a matter of record. 

Howard Popkin, a recognized Daitō-ryū practitioner, met Gordon in 2014 and observed his training. Popkin later in 2020 described Gordon as "a bold-faced liar" and concluded that Gordon was fabricating his martial arts background. This can also be found in court docket file 142, exhibit 14, page 6. Popkin has spoken out against Gordon's claims for years.  

Donald Quintana, a senior instructor with the Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu Kodokai U.S. Hombu, has debunked Bret Gordon's claims regarding Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu. He publicly denounced Gordon's assertions of lineage and rank within Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu in 2020. This also seen in court docket files.  

Most recently many Aikijujutsu practitioners that Gordon claims connections to in his book, have denied even knowing Gordon or training with him, much less being connected or affiliated to him. Others have stated that he grossly misrepresented their statements in his book in an effort to paint himself as a expert in Daito ryu aiki jujutsu and aiki arts. 

Gordon and Hatfield have cited figures like Hasaka Yutashi, Shune Davis and a William Sirbaugh as foundational to their martial arts systems. However, Hasaka and Davis are not real individuals. There is no credible records supporting their existence much less any martial arts background. William Sirbaugh has no verifiable martial arts training which further cast doubt on their claimed lineages and affiliations. 

Gordon and Hatfield have claimed high-ranking positions in various martial arts. However, their affiliations often trace back to organizations or individuals with questionable legitimacy. For example, Hatfield claims to have received a 5th Dan in Judo under Jack "Papasan" Stern, a figure convicted of Stolen Valor. Stern admitted in federal court that he wasn’t a martial artist and had issued illegitimate martial arts ranks and certifications in judo and Korean martial arts. This alone casts doubt on the legitimacy of Hatfield’s credentials and showcase he and Gordon’s tendency to glum onto and collect fake credentials and fake rank. 

Gordon's early claims included earning black belts in multiple disciplines by the age of 16 and founding his own martial art system, San Budo Sogo Bugei. However, these assertions have been challenged by former instructors and lack credibility.

Conclusion

Gordon lists a variety of ranks in multiple arts (e.g., Aiki Budo, Goju Ryu Karate, Taekwondo, Judo), these ranks often come from out of thin air just made up, or from lesser-known or self-styled organizations. There is no documentation, no pictures of him going through formal training or third-party confirmation from mainstream or internationally recognized martial arts federations.

The figure of Hasaka Yutashi, claimed founder of American Yoshinkan Aiki Jujutsu, has been shown to be fabricated. Linguistic analysis reveals the name is not consistent with Japanese naming norms. Gordon's shifting stories and eventual admission that Yutashi was an “alias,” only occurred after significant external pressure and demand for proof. 

Hatfield, who "passed down" American Yoshinkan to Gordon, is himself not recognized by legitimate Daitō-ryū or traditional Japanese martial arts organizations. Hatfield’s own rank claims and organizational affiliations have been widely discredited. 

There is no endorsement or recognition from credible Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu organizations (such as Kodokai, Takumakai, or the mainline Hombu). Their claims to the Kodokai have been directly refuted and debunked. Any rank and recognition Gordon and Hatfield seek has been denied by those associated with that lineage. 

Gordon’s own accounts have changed multiple times and shifted when his claims are debunked. Earlier writings do not mention key figures or claims he later introduced. Photographic "evidence" presented has not held up under scrutiny. They have tried to change and back date histories however that has only added more scrutiny.

After denying anyone access to their so called proof for years and even refusing to submit it to prove their back ground to the Kodokai and even multiple different judges in a court of law, Gordon put a picture of the man who was supposedly Yutashi in his book. After multiple iterations of Hasaka, he is supposedly Hatfield's family member. One accounting is a grand father another story is a he is a step grand father to Hatfield.  

There are two very noticeable things about the picture:

1.)  The person in the picture doesn't appear to be Japanese and 2.) the man in the picture in the book isn't shown in the old Japanese photographs that Gordon posted, including the one from the 25th Anniversary of the Kodokai that Gordon’s claimed Yutashi was in.

Two weeks after the release of the book the Kodokai addressed the claims (above) made in the book and verified that Gordon lied about his background and any connections to the Daitō-ryū and that the picture of Hasaka Yutashi was no one who had trained in the Daito ryu under Kodo Horikawa. 

Gordon now says that he cant offer proof, because he is under a non-disclosure agreement, but just buy his book because the proof is there.....yeah I cant make this shit up. 

I Wont Forget, This Is The Way It Is and The Way It's Gonna Be

Back in March one of my students, Randy, and his family was yet harassed online again this happened not barely a week after exposing Jack Stern as a martial arts fraud (Bret Gordon claimed a lineage to this man so he could claim a Judo rank), Someone by the name of Dallas Whittgenfeld doxed and harassed Randy going so far as to dox his mother.  I didn't for one second believe this was a coincidence or that Bret Gordon wasn’t somehow behind it. Gordon has Harassed my student and his daughter on more than one occasion.  Gordon's history of this has already been established by the local authorities in Alabama and now in Florida. 

Neither I or my student know who this Dallas person is. What is known is that Bret Gordon has issue with me and he knows the people that are harassing my student and his family. Gordon acts like he never once wronged my instructor, my student or me.

But he did.

Randy immediately notified the Orange City police dept. Multiple units of the Orange city PD showed up at the residence of Dallas. Dallas at first denied that he did anything and then he denied knowing Bret Gordon. Dallas was told that I was going to be contacted. Dallas quit denying that he knew Gordon at that point and stated that he did not want a problem with me. Why would Dallas even know me? Much less my student? The answer is he doesnt. This proved to the cops Gordon was involved. Dallas was then told he could be arrested if any more incidents take place. Randy then notified his local magistrate of the latest incident. Orange City Police also contacted the Ohatchee Police Dept.

This incident confirmed in the mind of law enforcement that Gordon had a hand in this. Myself and Randy were told that if another incident like this happens arrests will be made. Gordon was told when he first got caught that he would be held responsible.

Gordon can’t settle his differences with me man to man so he has to figure out a way to get at one of my students and their family members. This harassment has gone on for 3 years. Gordon’s is in a precarious position where the police will indeed issue a warrant if there is another single incident like this.

I want the people who trained and got ranks from him the past 3 years to know that will not satisfy me.  

Gordon put others up to it, I know he did, one named Adam and the other Dallas the others others were a few longtime students of Gordon’s. They knew full well what he did. They were involved or they were aware and kept quiet. I know one or two of them went so far as to tell other students to keep quiet about it.  

THEY ARE ALL GUILTY. 

If Gordon ends up arrested, he will squeal like a pig. Take everyone around him down. Gordon is a coward, a liar and a squealer who will say anything to keep his ass out of jail. The few who have trained with him the past several years knows what Gordon did to Randy and his 13 year old daughter just so the cowardly fuck could get back at me.  They are all cowardly fucks. They all owe me an apology on fucking bended knee. I hope this lands all your asses in court. I certainly hope you catch whatever hell comes your way.
