Bret Gordon did call me this afternoon. He wanted to know what my issue was with him? Acting like he didn't do anything wrong. Wow.
I was not
cordial nor do I intend to be until I'm approached properly. Gordon should have
had his hat in his hand but he did not. Gordon referred to me
as an angry little man. That is funny due to the fact I am taller
than the diminutive Gordon.
He was promptly cussed out. I owe Gordon no form of cordiality. He is a liar who thinks he can spin what he did and shift blame to others.
I have no intention of being polite to someone who intentionally lied about my instructors and I.

Gordon attempted to make this about me when in essence it's those around me who he intentionally lied about and defamed....my instructors pretty much all of them.... Who Gordon claimed were fake instructors and or non existent. He never once took responsibility of what he did in the call today.
Gordon is not and will never be my equal. He shouldn't try and act like he is. He tried to claim that he did not lie in his articles about me on the phone....but he did….. intentionally. If anyone was an angry little man it's him....he should have opened up with "Mr. Shepherd, I have to apologize to you and your instructors."
At one point toward the end of the conversation he even referenced that I had been doing judo long before he was even born. That didn't stop him from claiming online multiple times I was a fraud or stopped him from admonishing instructors from promoting me.
He then made a statement referring to Dale Dumas. Not that
it was even a point of contention but he claimed Dale was well mannered and
polite and that dale showed up but didn’t want to fight him. He pointed out the
entire thing was on video.
Okay.
But that isn't what Gordon told the cops the following day.
He told police Dumas tore up the place. Gordon then told me he called the cops
because he was being harrassed. But he had just said Dale was polite.
He then asked me why I wouldn't drive 45 minutes to his
dojo....my response....Dale Dumas and the false police complaint Gordon filed
against him.
Gordon is incapable of telling the truth about anything.
I got into the harassment of my former student and his daughter. Gordon claimed he had nothing to do with it. At that point he claimed Adam McKinley and Dallas Whittgenfeld were behind it all and he had no knowledge of it. Gordon claimed they went after my student his daughter because I was "well known".
Not according to the Ohatchee Police Department. Apparently both Adam McKinley and Bret Gordon admitted to knowing one another and incriminated themselves.
So I guess maybe Gordon is implying the police singled him out and are lying about him? Or maybe Gordon doesn't want me to know he was actually behind it?
In any case Dallas and Mickinley, according to Gordon, operated on their own, he wasn't part of it.
I guess Dallas someone who doesnt know me or is a martial artist put a 2000 dollar bounty on my head all by his lonesome after I exposed Gordon for lying about the record and acts of pedophillic predator....it's just a Coincidence?
Gordon wanted us to stop writing about each other. Okay. But
me and mine are owed apologies first. Period. Gordon wronged all my instructors
with no cause to…..both living and dead.
Gordon then admitted to buying his judo rank from USA Judo.
OK. But he added a caveat “just like I had bought mine.”
Organizations sell rank for money. The difference is I have
verified formal training in judo. Gordon doesn't have formal training in judo.
My entire judo background is an open book. Nothing is hidden. Burris/USA Judo
wasn't the only one who promoted me...he was secondary as most judo org
promotions are.

Burris did tell me at one time several years ago he couldn't
have a 30 year nidan as one of his coaches. Burris did acknowledge my years in
judo. And other legitimate judoka did as well.

My story regarding my ranks has never changed. Gordons has....many times. Also at one time by Gordon's own statements in his blogs organizational rank was meaningless.
But now they mean something?
So which is it?
It was obvious ploy to try and insinuate he and I are
somehow the same. We are not same we are not equal and he readily admitted to
knowing I did judo long before he was even born.
Without proper formal training in a system or method a certificate or rank in it is meaningless.
Games coming from a guy who pretended to be Casper Macfadden Doctor and licensed private investigator. Guess he forget we spoke just last week. Not only was it same voice Gordon used he used the same phrases as Casper when I cussed his ass out.
Gordon did also claim organizational rank meant nothing....only what one can do on the mats....but that has even changed. Over the phone Gordon made the statement what would his getting on the mats with me prove?
So again which is it?
I can be stripped of all my ranks but I will still be a good
judoka, a good coach a good kajukenboist, a good fighter, a good martial
artist. My skill.and knoweledge speak for itself. In other words, it doesn't take away my skills or knowledge. Mike Stone,
a fierce Karate competitor back in 60s and early 70s only claims a shodan after
all these years in karate.
If I had no ranks in anything, a sad out shape 30 something year old Gordon would still get his ass whipped.
My instructors were doing judo before I was born. One of them trained for years at the kodokan. Gordon
attacked them, he intentionally lied to defame them. He did it to crap on their backgrounds. Then went to one of them last
year and begged him for rank.
Gordon lied about them, without even knowing these mens back grounds, he didnt care. He lied about them simply to cover up his inadequacies in his background.
In Gordon's eyes however he did nothing wrong. Gordon approach wasn't honest and it was an attempt to spin an shift any responsibility for his actions.
